Our Successes

  • Strategic plans to 2030 (Master Plans) are in place for all MAG airports.
  • We provide leadership through several aviation industry bodies that develop responses to climate change and other sustainability challenges, including Sustainable Aviation, Flying Matters and the Air Transport Action Group (ATAG).
  • We support the work of Manchester Metropolitan University, a centre of excellence in aviation research and development.
  • As a leading business in aviation, we are subject to public scrutiny and aim to act as a corporate role model.
  • Our airports' sustainability programmes were recognised with three Big Tick awards from Business in the Community in 2009, alongside many other local and global awards for our work.
