Testimonials
Its always good to get some feedback from people who have experienced it. Here are a few testimonials so we have see here what people have to say about us;
Fire Training Hong Kong
The course covers a wide range of topics and visits relating to airport fire-fighting and rescue operation. Though the time-frame is rather tight, yet the whole course was completed on time with fruitful result. We are quite impressed by the diplomatic and pragmatic skills on planning the pressing day-to-day schedule smoothly and efficiently. I am particularly delighted with the trainers caring attitude and the first-class arrangement in every regard, ranging from booking a convenient and historic hotel for us with attractive price to sharing with us his valuable fire fighting experiences in aerodrome. We could not only learn the professional airfield knowledge of our counterpart but also broaden our horizons on the history of Manchester through his informative and vivid explanation especially during the visit to the Manchester Museum.

Manchester Airport - M Festival
I just wanted to send a quick email to thank you for all your support over the weekend's M Festival.
Simon Connolly did a fantastic job of organising the Big Rig tours and Simon Bolton and his guys could not have been more helpful or flexible on the day - they were fantastic!
I have had so much good feedback about the tours - they were definitely one of the most popular attractions on the day and having taken my family on one of them myself I can see why! The gasps when the rig was lit were brilliant and all the comments about the bravery of the team were fantastic to listen to!
Well done and a million thanks to you all!!

World of Work Events
Manchester Airport Fire Service have been integral to the success of the Airport Community Network World of Work Programme.
The World of Work initiative was established in the summer of 2006 at Haveley Hey Primary School, Wythenshawe, with the aim of raising awareness of the range of careers and opportunities available at Manchester Airport and helping to raise aspiration levels amongst young children.
At the pilot MA Fire Service made a huge contribution to the success of the event by chatting to junior children about the role of a firefighter and also by bringing along a fire appliance and Charlie the Childflight Plane for the infant children to visit.
The fire service have attended every event since providing a similar format and have informed and inspired many children about the work of the service and have potentially encouraged many firefighters of the future.
Over 2500 local children have participated in the events to date at the following schools;
- Haveley Hey Primary
- St.John Fisher & St. Thomas More Catholic Primary
- Ringway Primary
- The Willows Primary
- Peel Hall Primary
- Benchill Primary
- Crossacres Primary
The events are held twice per year, Spring and late Autumn.
The commitment and dedication of all staff has been commented on many times by our school partners and in particular the contribution made by Simon Connolly and Simon Hamilton in ensuring the smooth coordination of the activities and a very enthusiastic approach.
