Background: With Manchester Airport since 1990 - previously in Security; Security Training; Runway 2 Project Team and Aviation Development. Appointed to Airfield Safety Manager in May 2006.
Responsibilities:
- Produce safety policies and procedures for the apron operating area in accordance with CAP642
- Managing the policy for Airside Vehicle and Driver Permits
- Lead investigations following significant airfield safety incidents
- Overviewing safety inspections and compliance and safety audit processes across the airfield and other MAG airports.
- Oversee Airfield safety training implementation and delivery.
