The ADM is responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment on the aerodrome. The ADM is the senior aerodrome operational authority in the absence of the Airfield Operations Manager or his/her deputy.
The ADM ensures that Manchester Airport and other airside users comply with all airside safety standards and recommended practices in accordance with the requirements of the Aerodrome License, Aerodrome Manual, local operating procedures, and safety instructions.
