Welcome to Airfield Operations on MAGWorld!
.jpg/$FILE/Airfield1.jpg)
This site is now the main portal by which Manchester Airport Airfield Operations will publish operational data and documents, and a host of other useful and topical information about issues affecting the operation of the airfield and aprons. Replacing cumbersome, archaic hard-copy publications, airfield users can now simply view and download the main operational manuals, maps, and notices, or quickly find out the people, activities, projects and meetings which make the airfield run safely and smoothly.
What’s more, the site is generally ‘open’ – no logins and passwords, making it very easy to access what you need. Only information of a more confidential or sensitive nature is restricted, such as emergency procedures or minutes of committee meetings. For these you will be prompted to login. Logins are available from the administrator airfieldoperations@manairport.co.uk upon request, but will only be granted to people with a legitimate requirement to access such information.
Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with the site and how it works. We are always happy to speak to customers and airfield users, but you may well find that the information you are looking for is right here on the MAGWorld pages.
Enjoy!

An Overview
The menu in the left-hand margin enables you to choose to view content covering a range of topics.
Via the Document Library you will instantly be able to check what notices and manuals are current, and to download them for your use. Maps of the airfield are also posted here which are intended for staff holding airside driving permits, and also for aircraft simulator scenery designers who require accurate information about the ground markings and signage installed on the airfield. The airfield is a fast-moving environment, and there is constantly new information to be read and acted upon. For instance, we publish around 70 Airfield Temporary Operational Instructions every year – more than one each week on average.
The structure and make-up of the Airfield Operations Team is explained in The Team. Here you will get a brief introduction to the key people who are responsible for the safe operation of the airfield, and find out who you need to contact about a particular issue.
In Airfield Developments you can find out more about what infrastructure developments and currently in place or under consideration.
Each of the 4 safety-related Committees attended by external parties have a page. Here you’ll find each committee's terms of reference, meeting dates and recent minutes.
We have included a number of Frequently Asked Questions as well as a list of Useful Links to related sites.
Ultimately, this site will aim to deliver the latest information and all users are invited to use the Feedback function to comment on any particular aspect of it. We look forward to receiving your thoughts and questions.
