Safety Improvement Plan
The Safety Improvement Plan turns the airport’s safety strategy into actions. The plan is produced annually in line with the financial year and updates are made quarterly to the Manchester Airport Safety Executive to ensure that progress is on track.
This year's plan marks a renewed approach to Health, Safety and Well-being across MAG, with a revised structure of safety committees being implemented, together with a refreshed policy and a focus on clear performance measures. The aim is to support best practice and set out how safety will be continuously managed at the airport, and to look for areas where improvements can be made to better manage hazards and risks. All the action in the SIP are designed to be achievable and address specific areas of improvement across every area of our business at Manchester.
