Humberside - Community Relations
At Humberside Airport we seek to understand our contribution to sustainability in its fullest sense, taking into account the economic and social impact of the airport on regeneration and job creation as well as our commitments to mitigate the negative impact on the local and physical environment.
The airport has a long-term commitment to making a positive difference to the quality of life of its neighbouring communities. One of the ways this is done is through the support of a number of local initiatives. Priority for funding is given to projects that take into account the needs of everyone in the community.
Humberside airport is proud to be a major sponsor of the Hull and Grimsby youth football teams and is keen to encourage young people to get involve in sport. The airport is also keen to encourage the success of the region’s arts and culture and over the past few years we have brought a wide range of art forms to those who would not ordinarily have access to them.
Education is a huge area that we work closely with, our Education site is also a separate resource aimed at teachers and students of all ages.
