East Midlands
East Midlands Airport is fortunate to have an excellent Aeropark next to the Airport. Run entirely by volunteers, the Aeropark is both an aviation museum and a viewing area. Visitors can view historic aircraft and watch modern jets taking off and landing at East Midlands Airport. The viewing mound is just 170 metres high on the northern side of the main east/west runway at the Airport.
School parties are welcome but must book in advance with the Aeropark Volunteers Association. This can be done by email or by telephone.

School groups are given special treatment and a full guided tour by the Aeropark Volunteers Association and there is a charge of £2.00 per supervising teacher and £1.00 per child.
